Duaal is in beta.This document is a preliminary version for the trial period and may change. We'll let you know of relevant changes. It does not constitute legal advice.
Duaal is a companion app for mothers, fathers and caregivers, part of the DUAAL socio-emotional education program. It lets you log, in a few seconds, how you reacted in an everyday situation with your child and receive a suggestion and a small habit. By using Duaal you accept these terms.
To use the app you create an account with your email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity on your account. You must be of legal age to register and use Duaal in relation to raising your children or children in your care.
We ask you to use Duaal in good faith. In particular, you must not:
Duaal is an educational and companion tool. It is not therapy, not psychological or medical advice, and does not replace the care of a professional. If you or your child are going through a situation that requires professional support or an emergency, seek specialized help immediately.
The method, the texts, the DUAAL brand and the app's content are the property of DUAAL and its owners. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use Duaal. The entries you create are yours; how we use them is described in the privacy policy.
The daily log and your daily advice are free. We don't ask for payment details to use the app. In the future we may offer optional content —such as the full course or the game— that could have a cost; it will always be optional and clearly disclosed before any charge.
During the beta, the service may have interruptions, changes or errors. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features to improve the product. We make a reasonable effort to keep your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability during this stage.
Duaal is offered «as is». To the extent permitted by law, DUAAL will not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Parenting decisions are always yours; the app's suggestions are guidance and do not replace your judgment or that of a professional.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If the change is relevant, we'll let you know through the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
