01What data we collect

• Account data: your email and, if you add it, your name and your child's name or nickname.
• Your entries: the situations and reactions you select and the associated advice. Almost everything is chosen by tapping, not typing.
• App usage: basic technical data (device type, usage events) to understand what works and fix errors.

02What we use it for

• Give you your daily advice and show your progress and streak.
• Improve the content and experience of the program.
• Communicate with you about your account or relevant changes.
• Keep the app secure and prevent abuse.

03What we never do

• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't use your entries for targeted advertising.
• We don't share your intimate information with other families or make it public.
• We don't issue diagnoses about you or your child.

04Where it's stored

Your data is stored on servers of trusted infrastructure providers, with reasonable security measures to protect it. During the beta we keep strengthening these measures continuously.

05Who it's shared with

Only with providers that help us operate the app (for example, hosting or sending emails), under agreements that require them to protect your information and use it solely to provide us that service. We may also share data if the law requires it.

06How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an active account. If you ask to delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except what we must keep by legal obligation.

07Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and request a copy of it. You can also object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@duaal.app and we'll help you.

08Minors

Duaal is intended for adults in charge of parenting. It is not directed at use by children. Data about your child is limited to the minimum (such as a name or nickname) and you handle it, as their caregiver.

09Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the date in the header and, if the change is relevant, we'll let you know through the app or by email.
